Why Friday nights
Kids after school. Adults after work.
Juniors race first, so parents can watch, then get in themselves. It’s an eight-week series, not a one-off, and the top three drivers in each class take home trophies.
Juniors learn real skills
Our staff coach juniors on control, awareness and racecraft, well before they get a road licence.
Adults get a proper race
Tradies, office crews and mates who want real competition on a Friday night.

Families love it
“We race, laugh and argue.”
“I go here with my three children and we always have the best fun. We’ve probably been about 10 times now. We race, laugh and argue. It’s thrilling to sneak past each other on a corner, or cause enough pressure that makes another one spin under braking, or even better, spin off the track. In addition to the track rules, we make up our own rules, especially if…”
“Awesome track, lots of advice from the staff for juniors just starting out, friendly staff, always willing to help. Very safe operation for hire karts, highly recommended.”
“Such a great facility! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a family atmosphere. I continue to come back to Wollongong Karts for my daughters to drive the hire karts and to bring my own kart for private practice. Excellent value for money, no fuss, just a great overall experience. Great all year round, highlight of driving under lights on a summer night!…”

League questions
How does the series work?
It runs as an eight-week series on Friday nights. Juniors race first, then adults, and the top three drivers in each class at the end of the series receive trophies.
Who can race in the junior class?
Drivers aged 10 to 16 who are at least 150 cm tall. Junior beginners run first, followed by experienced juniors.
What’s the annual membership?
Every Arrive & Drive driver becomes a Wollongong Karts member. It’s $15, lasts 12 months and comes with a quick indemnity form. After that you just book and drive. Tick the membership box when you book.
What happens if it rains?
We race in the wet. A bit of drizzle just makes it a different track. If conditions become unsafe, we move your booking to another available date. Bookings aren’t refunded because of weather.
Can we have a drink before we race?
No. Alcohol before or during karting is strictly forbidden. Breaches mean on-the-spot cancellation, cancellation of your annual licence and a track ban. Save it for after.
